2025年4月29日 クリスチャンになる第一歩に洗礼（バプテスマ）があります。…洗礼？何か儀式をするのかな？「心で信じているなら、それだけで十分じゃない？」と思う方もいるかもしれませんね。でも、洗礼には大切な意味があるんです。
たとえば、スポーツチームに入るとき。すでに心の中では「このチームが好き！」と思っていても、正式にユニフォームを着ると、「自分は本当にこのチームの一員だ」と実感できますよね。洗礼は、まさにそれと同じ。心の中だけで信じるのではなく、行動によって「私はクリスチャンです」と宣言することなのです。
聖書が教える洗礼の意味
実は、聖書には洗礼についてこう書かれています。ローマ書6章には、「キリスト・イエスにつくバプテスマを受けた私たちはみな、その死にあずかるバプテスマを受けたのではありませんか。私たちは、キリストの死にあずかるバプテスマによって、キリストとともに葬られたのです。それは、ちょうどキリストが御父の栄光によって死者の中からよみがえられたように、私たちも、新しいいのちに歩むためです。私たちがキリストの死と同じようになって、キリストと一つになっているなら、キリストの復活とも同じようになるからです」（3-5節）とあります。ちょっと難しいでしょうか。では、イメージしてみてください。
たとえば、引っ越しをするとします。新しい町で暮らし始めたら、古い町での生活を終えて、新しい環境に身を置くことになりますよね。洗礼もそれと同じ。昔の罪や迷いから離れて、新しい人生へスタートを切ることなんです。
なぜ公に信仰を告白するの？
「でも、周りの人に信仰を宣言するのって、ちょっと恥ずかしくない？」と思う方もいるでしょう。確かに、知らない人の前で何かを表明するのは緊張します。でも、考えてみてください。
たとえば、卒業式。友達と一緒に学んできた証として、ステージに立って卒業証書を受け取る。これって、自分が学びを終えたことを公に示す瞬間ですよね。洗礼も同じで、「私は神の家族の一員になりました」と宣言することが、信仰の新しい始まりになるのです。
恥ずかしいと感じるかもしれませんが、実際に洗礼を受けた人たちは、「心がすっきりした」「神にしっかり向き合えた」と言っています。だからこそ、一歩踏み出すことが大切なのです。
迷っているあなたへ
洗礼は義務ではありません。でも、神があなたを愛し、招いてくださる恵みです。「まだ準備ができていない」「信仰は心の中だけでいいのでは？」「周囲にどう思われるか気になる」

2025年4月28日 今日は「キリスト教と科学」、そして「高度科学とその課題」という二つのテーマを一緒に考えていきます。この二つ、表面上は全く異なるものに見えるかもしれませんが、実は一つの共通のテーマを浮かび上がらせます。それは「人間が世界をどう捉えるか」ということです。
1. キリスト教と科学の歴史的関係
まず、よく聞くのが「宗教と科学は相いれない」というイメージです。たとえばガリレオ・ガリレイが地動説を提唱したとき、教会との対立が起きた、という話は有名です。このことから「キリスト教＝科学に反対」と思われがちですが、これは一面的な見方に過ぎません。
実際には、キリスト教の中世ヨーロッパで科学は大きく発展しました。なぜなら、当時の思想の中心にあったのは「自然界は神が創造した秩序あるものであり、その仕組みを知ることは神を知ることに繋がる」という考え方だったからです。たとえばケプラーやニュートンといった科学者は深い信仰を持ちながら、自然の法則を探究しました。つまり、科学は「神の作品を読み解く手段」として捉えられていたのです。
ここでのポイントは、「キリスト教が科学を否定する」わけではなく、むしろ科学の発展を支えた場面も多いということです。ただし、その時々の社会的、文化的背景によって宗教と科学が対立した時代もあったわけです。
2. 高度科学と現代の課題
では、現代に話を移します。科学技術は進化を続け、今や私たちは「高度科学」の時代に生きています。AIやゲノム編集、さらには核エネルギーや気候変動に関する科学など、これらの技術は驚くべき利便性や可能性を提供してくれます。しかし、一方で深刻な課題も浮かび上がっています。
たとえば、AI技術の発展は便利な社会を作る一方で、プライバシーの侵害や労働の在り方の変化という問題も生み出します。また、科学技術の倫理的側面—「これをしても良いのか？」という問い—がますます重要になっています。科学の力が増大するほど、それをどう使うかという判断が社会全体に問われるのです。
3. キリスト教と科学が共有する問い

2025年4月27日 キリスト教と、いわゆる異端とされるグループの違いを説明する時、難しい専門用語に悩まされることがありますよね。でも大丈夫です。ここでは、統一教会、エホバの証人、モルモン教と、伝統的なキリスト教（カトリック、プロテスタント、正教会）の違いをわかりやすく整理してみましょう。
1. 統一教会（現在の世界平和統一家庭連合）
統一教会では、創始者の文鮮明氏を「再臨のキリスト」としています。そして、聖書だけでなく、文氏が書いた『原理講論』という独自の教典が重視されています。ところが、伝統的なキリスト教では「再臨のキリストはまだ来ていない」と教えられているので、ここが大きく異なります。簡単に言うと、統一教会はキリスト教の枠組みを使いながら、オリジナルの教えを中心にしているんですね。
2. エホバの証人
エホバの証人は三位一体を否定します。つまり、イエス・キリストを「神」ではなく、「偉大な教師」という立場に置くのです。また、聖書の翻訳版として独自の『新世界訳』を使用し、血液輸血の禁止をはじめとする独特なルールがあります。

イエス・キリストの始まり：特別な誕生

2025年4月26日 キリスト教の歴史は、時代や地域に応じて進化し、いくつもの分岐点を迎えてきました。その中でも「ギリシャ正教とローマカトリックの分離」「ローマカトリックとプロテスタントの分離」、そして「聖公会とローマカトリックの分離」は、キリスト教の多様性を形作る大きな出来事です。それぞれを見ていきましょう。
1. ギリシャ正教とローマカトリックの分離
キリスト教はもともと一つの教会としてスタートしましたが、東西ローマ帝国の文化的・政治的な違いから、教会のあり方にも次第に隔たりが生じました。ローマを中心とする西側はラテン語、コンスタンティノープルを中心とする東側はギリシャ語を用い、権威や教義の解釈で対立するようになります。
最大の論点は「教皇の権威」でした。西側では教皇を最高指導者とし、全教会を統一する権威を主張しましたが、東側では総主教たちによる自治を重視。一方、「聖霊が父だけから出るのか、それとも父と子から出るのか」という「フィリオクエ問題」も教義的な衝突を招きました。
そして1054年、大シスマ（東西教会の分裂）が起こり、西側はローマカトリック教会、東側はギリシャ正教会として正式に分離しました。
2. ローマカトリックとプロテスタントの分離
16世紀になると、ローマカトリック教会の権威に対する不満が広がります。特に免罪符（罪の赦しをお金で買える制度）への批判が強まりました。この中で登場したのがドイツの神学者マルティン・ルターです。
1517年、ルターは「95か条の論題」を発表し、教会の腐敗や教義への疑問を表明。「人は信仰によって救われる」という主張を軸に、カトリックの伝統的な儀式や善行だけに頼る必要はないと説きました。この動きが「宗教改革」の始まりです。
これをきっかけに、カトリックから新たな教派「プロテスタント」が誕生。さらにジャン・カルヴァンや英国国教会（後述）などの影響を受け、多様な方向に展開していきました。
3. 聖公会とローマカトリックの分離
英国での宗教改革は独特な経緯をたどりました。16世紀、イングランド王ヘンリー8世がローマ教皇に離婚の許可を求めましたが、認められなかったため、自らローマ教会から離脱。1534年に「国王至上法」を制定し、教皇ではなく国王がイングランド教会（聖公会）の最高指導者となることを宣言しました。
その後、イングランド教会はローマカトリックの影響を受けつつも、プロテスタントの思想も取り入れ、独自の路線を歩むようになります。聖公会の礼拝スタイルは伝統的な要素を保ちながらも、プロテスタント的な柔軟さを兼ね備えたものとなりました。
まとめ：キリスト教の多様性と共通点

2025年4月26日 宗教については、私たちは普段あまり意識しないものですが、歴史や文化に深く根付いています。そして、どの宗教にも独自の教えや考え方があります。ここでは、キリスト教を中心にしながら、他の宗教との違いをわかりやすく見ていきましょう。
1. 神様は一人？たくさん？それともいない？
キリスト教では、「唯一の神」を信じています。この神様は宇宙を創った偉大な存在で、「愛」や「正義」の人格を持つとされています。そして、その神様が「父・子（イエス・キリスト）・聖霊」という三つの姿を持つという「三位一体」という独特の考え方があります（エホバの証人など、異端とされる宗教は、この考え方を受け入れません）。一方で、イスラム教も唯一の神（アッラー）を崇拝しますが、「三位一体」ではなく、一人の神という理解です。
ヒンドゥー教ではどうでしょう？神様がたくさんいる多神教ですが、すべてを統括する根源的な存在として「ブラフマン」がいます。仏教では少し違って、「悟り」を目指す宗教なので、神を信じるよりも修行が重要とされています。
2. 救いってどういうこと？
キリスト教では「人は誰でも罪を持っている」と考えます。その罪を解決し、神様との良い関係を取り戻すために、イエス・キリストが十字架にかかって命を献げたのだ、という教えが中心です。このイエスの「贖い（あがない）」によって人は救われ、永遠の命が得られると言われています。
一方で仏教の「救い」は、輪廻（生まれ変わり）の苦しみから解放されること。これには修行や瞑想が必要です。イスラム教では、救いはアッラーの定めによりますが、善行と信仰が重要な役割を果たします。ヒンドゥー教では、自分の行い（カルマ）によって解脱が得られるという考え方です。
3. 聖典はあるの？
キリスト教の聖典は「聖書」です。「旧約聖書」と「新約聖書」に分かれ、神様の言葉が書かれているとされています。一方、イスラム教では「クルアーン」が神の啓示そのもの。仏教には多数の経典（お経）があり、ヒンドゥー教では「ヴェーダ」や「バガヴァッド・ギーター」が重要な書物です。それぞれが信仰と生活のガイドブックになっています。
4. 宗教はどう実践する？
キリスト教では、礼拝や祈り、洗礼、聖餐式（パンとぶどう酒を分かち合う儀式）が主要な実践です。さらに「隣人を愛する」ことがキリスト教の行動指針になります。イスラム教では「五行」と呼ばれる5つの義務（信仰告白、礼拝、断食、喜捨（寄付）、巡礼）が基本です。
仏教では瞑想や戒律（ルールを守ること）が大事ですし、ヒンドゥー教ではヨーガやプジャ（礼拝の儀式）が行われます。それぞれが独特の形で信仰を深めていきます。
5. 人間とは？

2024年6月21日 こんにちは。パスターまことです。この度Youtubeの登録者数が1000件を達成し、Youtubeパートナーとなりました。皆様の応援に感謝のご報告をさせていただきます。
聖書通読ブログは、WEB版でスタート約26年毎日休まず、継続してまいりました。現在、1回3年半ほどのサイクルで、通読第６シーズンに入っています。第5シーズンからYoutube版が公開されるようになり、約3年ほどで1000件登録達成に至りました。これまで、沢山の方々と一緒に、聖書通読を共にすることができましたことを大変うれしく、またありがたく思っております。登録してくださった皆様、お一人お一人に心より感謝申し上げます。
これからも一日1章を続けていきますし、見せ方もバージョンUPしてまいりますので、ぜひ、続けて、応援していただけますと感謝です。また、本当に聖書が語っていることをありのままに語り続けてまいります。
また今後は、メンバー限定公開と一般公開の二種類のサイトになっていく計画もございます。新約聖書を体系的に、また全体的に理解できるような学びのサイトも設けていく予定です。

2024年2月19日Every Sunday from 9:40 to 10:10 a.m., Tamagawa Christ Church offers a “Japanese Class for Learning from Church Life & Faith Life” for foreign residents who are trying hard to make a living in Japan.
玉川キリスト教会では、毎週日曜日午前9時40～10時10分まで、日本で生活をしていこうと頑張っておられる外国人の方々のための「教会生活＆信仰生活から学ぶ日本語クラス」を実施しております。
The content of the class includes the Lord’s Prayer, the Apostles’ Creed, the Ten Commandments, missionary policy verses, reading specific Bible verses in Japanese, and singing hymns in Japanese for use in worship services. At a slow pace, each word is practiced repeatedly, checking the reading, sound, and meaning of each word in romaji.
内容は、礼拝で使う、主の祈り、使徒信条、十戒、宣教方針聖句、また特定の聖書箇所を日本語で読んだり、讃美歌を日本語で歌ったりします。ゆっくりしたペースで、一語一語、ローマ字での読みと音、また意味を確認しながら、繰り返し練習します。
In addition, we send out a weekly English newsletter as well as an email that explains the usage and meaning of words commonly used in church life and faith life.
また毎週、英語の週報と同時に、教会生活、信仰生活でよく使われる単語について、その使い方、意味を解説したメールを配信しています。

2022年10月12日キリスト教主義ミッションスクール入学を目指して
お子様のミッションスクール入学をお考えのご家庭の皆様へ。玉川教会では、お子様の受験準備をサポートする特別講座を開講しています。キリスト教の価値観や精神に親しみながら、学校の理念への理解を深める絶好の機会です。
講座では、新約・旧約聖書の中心的なメッセージや建学の精神について、分かりやすく丁寧に学びます。さらに、受験されるお子様には、教会音楽主事による楽しい時間をご提供。聖書物語を聞いたり、讃美歌を歌ったりして、キリスト教の世界を自然と身近に感じていただけます。
講座の詳細
1．日時：毎月第四土曜日、13:30-14:30
2．場所：玉川キリスト教会集会室
3．対象：年少・年中のお子様（小学受験）または小学校3-5年生のお子様（中学受験）とそのご両親
4．内容：聖書の概要、中心的なメッセージの理解、ミッションスクールの建学精神への理解（全10回）
5．進め方：三浦綾子著「新約聖書入門」「旧約聖書入門」をテキストに指定箇所を読み、質疑応答を交えながら進行します。
参加費：月謝は不要ですが、寄付をいただけますと感謝です。
さらに、聖日礼拝への出席を通して、キリスト教の精神をより深く体験していただけることもお勧めしています。この講座は学業成就を保証するものではございませんが、お子様の受験準備に役立つ内容となっています。
