We occasionally receive inquiries from overseas regarding evangelism, volunteering, internships, or missionary work in Japan. We are grateful for your interest and for your desire to serve God.
Before making further inquiries, please carefully note the following important points:
1. Visa and Legal Status
Our church is not able to sponsor visas, provide employment, or act as a host organization for immigration purposes. Anyone wishing to participate in church activities in Japan must already have, or independently obtain, a valid visa that allows them to stay in Japan legally.
2. Financial Self-Support
Due to the high cost of living in Japan and our limited resources as a local church, we are not able to provide financial support, housing, or living expenses. Participants must be able to support themselves during their stay.
3. Nature of Participation
Any involvement with our church is voluntary in nature and based on mutual understanding, availability, and local circumstances. Expressing interest does not guarantee acceptance, invitation, or placement.
4. Next Step for Serious Inquiries
If, after understanding the above, you still wish to contact us, please include the following information in your message:
- Your current or planned visa status for Japan
- The expected length and timing of your stay in Japan
- A brief description of your ministry background or interest
